Artist Statement
If I told you I was raised by dragons, would you believe me? I grew up in the concrete jungle of New York City and through its chaos, I was introduced to the fantasy genre from video games, books, & film. Their stories inspired me to become the fantasy artist and writer I am today. My goal is to touch readers’ hearts and encourage them to find their inner light during times of hardship through my works by creating comics, illustrations, and novels to invite readers to read for comfort, wonder, and joy.

Creating stories is my passion, I love to design characters and build their world
through traditional and digital mediums for illustrations by conceptualizing and
storyboarding page layouts, drawing backgrounds, and picking colors. I begin a
piece by brainstorming and sketching ideas as thumbnails in my sketchbook,
some ideas do not work, but could be saved for something else until I find the
right composition for drawing digitally or using traditional materials in mixed
media. It helps me process my ideas more and make changes when I continue to
create my illustrations. Celestial and spiritual themes are prominent in my works
with blue, purple, & pink colors, along with a shine that lightens the character or
the main focus of the illustration that glows to stand out. My connection to
spirituality is always found in my writing, designs, and illustrations.

I am a spiritual woman, and through my spiritual experiences, I learned to draw
from Feng Shui to bring a lighter energy into my works. To share joy and love
that opens the hearts of people who see them and helps them feel happier.
Having the freedom to create works that inspire along with expressing myself
and my experiences. Creating comics fills me with overwhelming joy, full of
gratitude, for my life’s journey to tell stories for readers and art enthusiasts to
journey with the characters in their adventures. My ultimate goal as an artist and
writer is to have my stories become physical books for everyone’s library; where
art helps inspire people to know they’re not alone in their trials and tribulations
and discover their inner light.
